Anguilla retractable patio awning
The Anguilla offers exceptional value without compromising quality. This UK-manufactured sun awning features a cylindrical full cassette design that discreetly conceals the mechanism when not in use, protecting your investment from weather damage.
Standard manual operation via detachable crank handle keeps costs accessible, whilst motorised upgrades are available. Twin spring-loaded arms tensioned through double stainless steel sheathed cables maintain optimal fabric tension. End-block construction requires fixing points only at each end, simplifying installation on extensions and bungalows with bespoke brackets.
Available up to 5m wide and 3m projection, withstanding winds up to 24mph. Variable pitch from 0-45 degrees enables use during light rain when installed at 14+ degrees. Ideal for garden terraces, patios and sun terraces.
Tortola patio awning
The Tortola represents our most popular retractable awning, combining streamlined aesthetics with advanced motorisation. Its cylindrical full cassette protects fabric and mechanisms completely, whilst the narrow profile suits properties where wall space is limited.
Somfy’s latest bi-directional (io) technology provides effortless operation via remote control or smartphone app. Particularly suitable for residential and some commercial installations where multiple awnings need coordinating. Robust twin spring-loaded arms with double stainless steel cable tensioning maintain perfect fabric presentation, withstanding winds up to 24mph.

Cuba electric patio awning
The Cuba represents the pinnacle of our patio awning range. Its contemporary rectangular flush-fitting cassette appears as an integrated architectural feature, making it the choice for premium commercial projects and high-specification residential properties.
Heavy-duty folding arms with drop-forged joints feature quadruple stainless steel cables tensioning twin springs, withstanding winds up to 30mph. Concealed fixing brackets and screw-less aluminium end plates deliver refined aesthetics. Yes, when installed at 14+ degrees pitch as per European Directive EN 13561. Rainwater runs off the TEXgard-treated fabric whilst cleaning surface dirt.
Add 0.5m to each side of the door or window being covered. For alfresco dining, select minimum 2.5m projection. We’ll confirm optimal sizing at survey.
Most rear installations on residential properties fall under permitted development rights. Exceptions include conservation areas, listed buildings and where rights have been removed.
Yes. We design bespoke load-bearing brackets including spreader plates and cantilever brackets that safely distribute fixing loads and overcome mounting limitations.
The Anguilla and Tortola extend up to 5m wide by 3m projection. The Cuba reaches 7m wide by 3.75m projection, or couples to 14m width.
