The following terms apply to all contracts in which Saxon Blinds Ltd. (“The Company”) acts as seller. Acceptance of delivery of the goods from the Company shall be conclusive proof that the buyer has accepted these terms and conditions as being the only ones affecting any contract between the buyer and the Company.

As prices may be beyond our control, any published prices could be subject to alteration without prior notice.  Any prices provided in a written quotation will be held for a period of 90days.  The price of goods and services listed within our sales order provided at the start of a contract will be fixed and will not be subject to further change.

VAT will be charged at the rate in force at the time of dispatch or installation.

Credit accounts can be opened on receipt of satisfactory bank and two trade references in accordance with the Company’s requirements, but we shall only supply goods under a credit account subject to such credit limit and such other requirements regarding the operation of such accounts as the Company may stipulate from time to time. The Company shall not be obliged to deliver any goods to the buyer at a time when any money shall not have been paid on the due date in respect of that or any other order.

Net 30 days, unless otherwise negotiated and explicitly specified on our Invoice.

The Company operates a quality control system on all products. lf any goods supplied by the Company shall be found to be defective in quality or in quantity or In any other way, then the Company will in agreement with the customer either rectify the goods, or refund (or give credit for) the purchase price.

Whilst the risk on the goods shall pass to the customer on delivery, the ownership of the goods shall remain with us until payment for all goods has been received by us in full.  We may require the customer on reasonable notice to return and deliver up the goods to us, failing which we shall take legal proceedings to recover the goods or their value.

The Company will use all reasonable endeavours to deliver and install the goods at the time agreed with you.  However you must appreciate that we cannot be held responsible for delays that may occur for reasons beyond our control.  In the case of unforeseen circumstances that delay delivery or installation, we will contact the customer and agree an alternative appointment.

The customer is asked to examine the packaging at the time of delivery and notify the carrier of any obvious damage and for the goods to be examined as soon as reasonably possible after the delivery and to notify the company of any fault or damage.

As it is our policy of continually improve products, methods and materials, we reserves the right to change specification from time to time, we will not make any significant variations without your agreement.

The manufacturing guarantee applies in principle for a minimum period of two years, commencing at invoice date. The guarantee is only applicable if:- the product is completely composed of Saxon Blinds Ltd components and has been assembled at our factory, otherwise the manufacturers guarantee will apply. This does not affect your statutory rights.

The Customer may only cancel their contract with Saxon Blinds on the grounds that the company has breached its part of the contract.  As our blinds are made to your precise measurements, once they are in the process of manufacture they are not re-saleable and we reserve the right to make reasonable charges for any work undertaken on your behalf.

The present terms and conditions of trade and every contract of which they form part, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with UK Law and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive.
